Financial Controller

For our Finance team, we are looking for an enthusiastic Financial Controller. Do you have a solid accounting background? Are you strong in building internal and external relationships and would you like to work in a dynamic organization and international team? Then we are looking for you!

What you will do

As a Financial Controller you are responsible for ensuring that the company's financial systems and processes are effective, efficient, and compliant with regulatory requirements. The Financial Controller will work closely with the CFO to help the company achieve its objectives. 

The key activities will consist of:

• Processing the monthly financial statement closing, cooperating with an external accounting services provider;
  
• Monitoring costs, review of incoming invoices, ensuring proper controls over a procure-to-pay process;
• Monitoring projects, collecting supporting documentation for invoicing, ensuring an efficient billing process;
• Preparation of annual budgets, monthly rolling forecasts & cash liquidity prognose;
• Oversee the company's accounting and financial reporting systems and processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements;
• Support the Business Development department in evaluating prospective new business opportunities;
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including shareholder, auditors, and other financial partners.

You have strong analytical skills; enjoy working with numbers and understand the underlying dynamic drivers. You can work independently but also easily approach your colleagues and dare to ask questions. We are looking for a colleague who can remain positive and critical at the same time and who enjoys contributing to the common goal. 

We expect the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree (HBO) in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration;
• 3-5 years work experience in the field of finance, accounting, controlling. Big 4 experience is a plus;
• Advance user MS Excel;
• Native Dutch speaker, fluent in English both in word and writing.
